Both directions of the Courtney Campbell Causeway are closed indefinitely while police investigate.

TAMPA – Police here are investigating a fatal traffic crash in the eastbound lanes of the Courtney Campbell Causeway.

The crash involves a motorcycle and a passenger vehicle. One person is dead at the scene and a second has been taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries, according to the Tampa Police Department. Both directions of the Causeway are closed indefinitely while the investigation continues.
