The crash happened about 7:16 a.m. on northbound I-275 at the entrance ramp from Dale Mabry Hwy. Mr. Rangel was driving a 2015 Ford Mustang at a high rate of speed. Troopers said he cut through the median and hit the rear of the truck that Cobian had been driving, which was parked in the median because it was disabled.

The impact forced the truck forward causing it to his Cobian who was standing outside his truck.
