No one was injured.

CLEARWATER – An SUV crashed into a tennis shop in a small strip shopping plaza Sunday (Jan. 22).

The driver, Timothy Novak, 48, of  Clearwater, was not injured. He was cited for careless driving, according to the Clearwater Police Department.

Police said the crash happened about 2 p.m. Novak was driving a Cadillac SUV westbound on Gulf-to-Bay Boulevard when it veered out of control, crossed the median, crossed eastbound lanes and then slammed into the front of the Advantage Yours tennis shop at 1875 Gulf to Bay.
