One other person was seriously injured in the three-car crash, FHP troopers say.

PASCO COUNTY – A Palm Harbor man died of injuries he suffered Saturday (Aug. 24) night in a crash on State Road 54, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

Abram Hanna, 74, of Palm Harbor, died at the Regional Medical Center at Bayonet Point where he was taken after the crash. He was a passenger in one of the cars.

Jakoub H. Hanna, 71, of New Port Richey, the driver of the car in which Abram Hanna was riding, was taken to Bayonet Point in serious condition.

The drivers of two other cars involved in the crash suffered minor injuries but were not taken to hospitals.

The crash happened about 8:41 p.m. at the intersection of SR 54 and Trinity Boulevard in Pasco County.

Troopers said Jakoub Hanna was driving a 2006 four-door Ford on SR 54. The Ford tried to turn left onto Trinity Boulevard and entered the path of a 2008 Buick Lucerne that was traveling east on SR 54 in the center lane.

The two cars collided and the Ford spun onto Trinity Boulevard where it hit the rear of a 2019 Toyota Camry that was stopped at a red light.
