The St. Petersburg Police Department will be targeting drunk drivers tonight.

ST. PETERSBURG – The DUI and patrol units will be out in force tonight (Aug. 18) across the city looking for drunk drivers, according to the St. Petersburg Police Department.

The citywide wolf pack will be on the road from 6 p.m. to 4 a.m. Saturday (Aug. 19).  Officers say they’ll be making a special effort to make the city’s roads safer by focusing on impaired drivers. So, if you plan on drinking, do so responsibly and make safe travel arrangements, police said.

The DUI wolf pack operation is sponsored by MADD., the Suncoast Safety Council and RID-Tampa Bay.
