Help St. Pete Improve Streets, Traffic

St Petersburg | Complete Streets | Traffic

An open house tonight (Oct. 3) is the final chance for residents to comment and provide ideas on St. Petersburg’s “complete streets” plan, which is designed to make St. Pete’s streets more user friendly for all – walkers, bicyclists and drivers.

ST. PETERSBURG – View recommendations and provide final input for the city’s Complete Streets Implementation Plan during a 6:30 p.m. open house from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. today (Oct. 3) at the Main Library, 3745 9th Ave. N.

The recommendations were developed after four public meetings held earlier this year to suggest ways of making St. Petersburg streets safer and more comfortable for a variety of users.

Ideas gathered from the open house will be considered for inclusion in the final plan, which also serves as an update to the CityTrails Bicycle Pedestrian Master Plan.
