FHP troopers have accused one of the other drivers of DUI injury and property damage.

PASCO COUNTY – A Spring Hill woman was seriously injured this morning (Dec. 17) in a three-vehicle collision on Trinity Boulevard, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

Lisa Conti, 55, of Spring Hill, was taken to the Regional Medical Center at Bayonet Point in serious condition. The other two drivers, Charles Daniel Morales, 42, of Wesley Chapel, and Daniel Osborn, 41, of Lutz, were both taken to Medical Center of Trinity with minor injuries.

FHP troopers arrested Morales and charged him with DUI injury and property damage. They also cited Morales for Failure to Maintain his Lane.

The crash happened about 8:18 a.m. on Trinity Boulevard east of Tamarind Boulevard in Pasco County.

Troopers said Morales was driving a 2015 Dodge pickup truck east on Trinity when he crossed the center line into oncoming traffic. The left front of the Dodge hit the left front of the 2013 Nissan pickup truck that Conti was driving.

The Nissan overturned and came to a rest on its right side in the eastbound lane.

The Dodge spun and collided with a 2016 Mazda SUV that Osborn was driving. The Dodge and Mazda came to a rest in the westbound lane.
