Riverview Man Dies in I-75 Crash
He lost control of his car, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY – A Riverview man died Friday (May 11) night in a traffic crash on I-75, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Ever Noe Chavez Romero, 21, of Riverview, died at the scene.
The crash happened about 9:14 p.m. on northbound I-75 near mile marker 252.5.
Troopers said Mr. Romero was driving northbound on I-75 at a high rate of speed when he lost control of the 2009 Mazda3 he was driving. The car rotated, left the roadway and hit a pole. It is unclear if alcohol was involved in the crash.
