Port Richey Motorcyclist Dies After U.S. 19 Crash in Pinellas

The other driver turned into the path of the oncoming motorcycle, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

PINELLAS COUNTY – A Port Richey man died after a Wednesday (June 6) traffic crash on U.S. 19 in Pinellas County, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

Bryan Anthony Costa II, 25, of Port Richey, died at Mease Countryside Hospital where he was taken after the crash. He was wearing a helmet.

The crash happened about 9:15 p.m. at U.S. 19 and Royal Boulevard. Troopers said that Susan Marie Bruce, 56, of Ortonville, MI, was driving a 2015 Ford F150 south on U.S. 19. She turned left into the path of the 2010 Buell motorcycle that Mr. Costa was riding. The two vehicles collided.
