Some streets will not be resurfaced until utility repairs are finished.

PLANT CITY -The street resurfacing project that the Plant City Commission approved for Fiscal Year 2016-17 is about to begin.

The streets that are to be resurfaced were reviewed by the Utilities Department for water and wastewater service line repairs or replacements. The utility repairs and replacements have been completed for the streets below and are to be resurfaced in the next few weeks, Plant City officials said. The start date for resurfacing the streets is Monday (Oct. 16).

The schedule for the remaining streets to be resurfaced will be posted when the utility repairs are completed and resurfacing can begin.
