Pinellas Park Woman Dies in I-275 Crash

The car she was driving hit a tree, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

PINELLAS COUNTY – A Pinellas Park woman died early this morning (March 24) in a single-vehicle crash on I-275, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

Jessica Janay Eva, 29, of Pinellas Park, died at the scene. It is unclear if she was wearing a seat belt. The crash was not alcohol related.

The crash happened about 3:03 a.m. Troopers said Ms. Eva was driving a 2006 Acura north on I-275 near the 25-mile post in Pinellas County when, for an unknown reason, she left the roadway and entered the center median. Once in the median, the Acura collided with a tree.
