Pinellas Park Man Dies in Ulmerton Road Crash
He was thrown from his pickup truck, which overturned in the crash, Florida Highway Patrol troopers said.
PINELLAS COUNTY – A Pinellas Park man was killed in a traffic crash on Ulmerton Road on Friday (Sept. 21) when he crossed the centerline and collided with two other vehicles, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
Michael J. Kiedrowski, 47, of Pinellas Park, died at the scene. He was not wearing a seat belt. No one else was injured in the crash.
The crash happened about 7:15 p.m. at the intersection of Ulmerton Road and Feather Sound Drive in PInellas County.
Troopers said Mr. Kiedrowski was driving a 1994 Chevrolet S10 pickup truck west on Ulmerton when, for unknown reasons, he crossed the centerline. The Chevrolet collided with a 2016 Dodge Caravan driven by Stephanie Ann Wilburn, 25, of Clearwater and a 2017 Infinity Q50 driven by Suzann Elaine Clark, 51, of Clearwater. Both the Dodge and the Infinity were stopped at the traffic light at the intersection. Both were eastbound.
The Chevrolet overturned and Mr. Kiedrowski was thrown from the pickup.
The crash closed the eastbound lanes of Ulmerton Road for about three and a half hours.
