Pedestrian Seriously Injured in Clearwater Crash with Dump Truck

He was not in a crosswalk, Clearwater police said.

CLEARWATER – A pedestrian was seriously injured Wednesday (May 10) when he was hit by a dump truck while crossing Belleair Road, according to the Clearwater Police Department.

Adam Creamer, 39, of Bushnell, was taken to Bayfront Health St. Peterburg with serious injuries thought not to be life-threatening. The name of the driver of the truck was not available.

The crash happened about 4:48 p.m. at the intersection of Highland Avenue and Belleair Road. Police said Creamer was crossing from north to south across Belleair and was not in a crosswalk. The dump truck that struck him was westbound on Belleair.
