He was not in a marked crosswalk, according to FHP troopers.

PASCO COUNTY – A Tarpon Springs man died Saturday (Oct. 13) night when he was hit by a pickup truck while crossing U.S. 19 N, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

Shawn Patrick Bullock, 50, of Tarpon Springs, died at the scene.

The crash happened about 9:40 p.m. on U.S. 19 N south of Trouble Creek Road in Pasco County.

Troopers said Mr. Bullock was walking westbound across U.S. 19 not in a crosswalk when he walked into the path of a 2000 Toyota Tundra driven by Stephen A. Sadowski, 31, of Zephyrhills.
