She walked into traffic and was hit by two vehicles, Florida Highway Patrol troopers said.

PASCO COUNTY – A Land O’ Lakes woman died Sunday (Sept. 16) when she was hit by two vehicles while trying to cross State Road 54, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

Tricia Anne O’Brien, 46, of Land O’ Lakes, died at the scene.

The crash happened about 8:13 p.m. on SR 54 west of Wesley Chapel Boulevard in Pasco County.

Ms. O’Brien was trying to cross SR 54 and stepped into traffic. Troopers said she was hit twice: first, by a 2013 Honda Civic driven by Cadi Denise Valva, 27, of Wesley Chapel, and again by a 2007 Chrysler van driven by Rogina Gamal Kelta, 18, also of Wesley Chapel.
