The crash happened about 1:45 a.m. on U.S. 19 N north of the Ridge Road intersection. Troopers said a 2015 Chevrolet pickup truck, driven by Larry Caswell, 54, of Port Richey, was headed south on U.S. 19. The Chevy had a green light and hit the woman who was not in a crosswalk. It is unclear if alcohol was involved, troopers said.
