Park Boulevard Bridge Closed to Tall Boats – Temporarily
Pinellas County is working to repair the bridge.
PINELLAS COUNTY – The Park Boulevard bridge will remain in the closed position for about two weeks because of a mechanical failure, Pinellas County officials said.
The bridge remains open to vehicle and pedestrian traffic, but cannot be raised for tall boats. Pinellas County Public Works staff are working to secure parts and will complete repairs as quickly as possible.
Constructed in 1979, Park Boulevard Bridge connects the mainland of central Pinellas County with the barrier islands at Indian Shores and Redington Shores.
