Paradise Point Way Crash Kills New Port Richey Man

PASCO COUNTY – A New Port Richey man died of injuries he suffered in a single-vehicle crash on Paradise Point Way, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

Jeffery Paul Leeman, 62, of New Port Richey, died at the Regional Medical Center at Bayonet Point where he was taken after the crash. He was not wearing a seat belt, troopers said. Alcohol was not a factor in the crash.

The crash happened about 8:21 p.m. Saturday (June 15) on Paradise Point Way north of Tournament View in Pasco County.

Troopers said Mr. Leeman was driving a 1965 Chevrolet pickup truck south on Paradise Point when, for unknown reasons, the vehicle left the roadway. The pickup hit a tree in the grass median.
