Police Tape | Accident | Crime

The camper overturned after a crosswind caused the trailer and the vehicle towing it to jackknife, FHP troopers said.

PASCO COUNTY – Portions of I-75 were closed for almost two hours Sunday (Sept. 29) morning after a camper overturned and blocked travel lanes, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

No one was injured in the crash, which happened about 8:20 a.m. on northbound I-75 near the 292 mile post just south of Blanton Road in Pasco CountY.

Troopers said the camper was being towed by a 1999 Ford F350 when a crosswind caused the driver to lose control of the pickup truck.

The truck and camper trailer it was towing jackknifed and the camper overturned and blocked the travel lanes.
