New Port Richey Man Found Deceased After Traffic Crash
He had had a medical emergency, FHP troopers say.
HOLIDAY – A New Port Richey man was found dead behind the wheel of his SUV after it crashed into a privacy fence, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
Kris Thomas Geidel, 60, of New Port Richey, died a the scene.
Troopers said Mr. Geidel was driving a 2004 Ford SUV that was stopped in the east side of the parking lot at the Shama Alpha Masani Clinic, 5010 Mile Stretch Drive, when he suffered a medical emergency.
About three hours later, the SUV slowly rolled forward out the south side of the parking lot and into a yard on Mary Lane where it hit a privacy fence.
