Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Little Road Hit and Run

FHP troopers are searching for the unknown driver.

PASCO COUNTY – A New Port Richey motorcyclist was seriously injured Wednesday (Oct. 23) in a hit-and-run crash on Little Road, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Jason Edward Guindon, 21, of New Port Richey, was taken to the Regional Medical Center at Bayonet Point in serious condition.

The crash happened about 7:10 p.m. at the intersection of Little Road and Schrader Boulevard in Pasco County.

Troopers said Guindon was driving a 2005 Suzuki motorcycle that was stopped facing east at the stop sign on Schrader Boulevard. The unidentified driver was headed north on Little in the left turn lane.

The unknown driver made a left turn crossing over the inside southbound lane of Little Road. The motorcycle started east across the outside travel lane of Little Road. The left front of the unidentified vehicle hit the motorcycle, troopers said, and fled the scene heading west on Schrader.
