Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Indian Rocks Beach Crash

The single-vehicle crash happened on the Indian Rocks Beach Causeway Bridge, according to Pinellas deputies.

INDIAN ROCKS BEACH – A Seminole man was seriously injured Saturday (Nov. 2) when he was thrown from his motorcycle during a crash on the Indian Rocks Beach Causeway Bridge, the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office said.

Logan G. Collins, 23, of Seminole, was taken to a hospital with serious injuries. He was wearing a helmet.

The crash happened about 3:56 a.m. in Indian Rocks Beach.

Deputies said Collins was driving a 2017 Harley Davidson east on Fifth Avenue. As he approached the bridge, deputies said he hit the median side guard rail and was thrown from his motorcycle.

Speed and impairment are factors in the crash, deputies said.
