PASCO COUNTY – A Port Richey man was seriously injured early this morning (Feb. 15) in a single-motorcycle crash on Little Road, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

Ronaldo Joshua Young, 30, of Port Richey, was taken to the Regional Medical Center at Bayonet Point in serious condition. Alcohol was not involved in the crash. He was wearing a helmet.

The crash happened about 12:25 a.m on Little Road south of Fivay Road in Pasco County.

Troopers said Young was driving a 1999 Suzuki motorcycle south on Little Road (County Road 1) in the outside lane when, for unknown reasons, he lost control of the bike and collided with the curb on the west shoulder.

Young was thrown from the bike and hit a roadway sign as the motorcycle continued for another 300 feet until it came to final rest.
