Mother, Children Hurt Crossing Dale Mabry

The three are listed in stable condition.

TAMPA – A mother and her two sons, 18 months and 5 years old, were seriously injured Wednesday (Nov. 22) when they were hit while crossing S Dale Mabry Hwy., the Tampa Police Department said.

Cassandra Marie Spicola, 29, was taken to a hospital with critical injuries. Jordan Williams, 5, and Noah Spicola, 18 months, were taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries. They were all listed in stable condition early this morning (Nov. 23).

The crash happened about 5:52 p.m. on S Dale Mabry near Wyoming. Police said Spiocola was holding the hands of her two children while trying to cross Dale Mabry from east to west. They were not in a pedestrian crosswalk when they were hit by a southbound car driven by Thang Phu, 35.

Officers said the car’s driver immediately stopped and remained at the scene. No charges had been filed.
