Lakewood High Student Dies in Crash, Two Others Injured

They had just left Lakewood High, the St. Petersburg Police Department said.

ST. PETERSBURG – A Lakewood High School student was killed today (April 2) in a traffic crash shortly after they left the campus, according to the St. Petersburg Police Department.

Bryson Welton-Williams, 18, died at the scene. Two others in the car, Joshua Heath and Ramcharan Lattimore, both 18, were injured in the crash.

Details are limited but police said the car had just left Lakewood High School, 1400 54th Ave. S, and was traveling west on 54th when it hit a tree. Police said Mr. Welton-Williams was driving.
