Hudson Man Dies in Little Road Crash

He walked into the path of an oncoming SUV, said FHP troopers.

PASCO COUNTY – A Hudson man died Saturday (May 11) night when he was hit by an SUV on Little Road, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

Eric John Peterson, 54, of Hudson, died at the scene.

The crash happened about 9:04 p.m. on Little Road near the intersection of Cricket Street in Pasco County.

Troopers said Mr. Peterson was walking west across Little Road when he stepped into the path of a 2004 Jeep Wrangler that was headed north.
