The decision to postpone a meeting tonight (Oct. 4) and Thursday (Oct. 6) came after FDOT decided lanes on the Howard Frankland would not be toll lanes.

TAMPA BAY – The northbound Howard Frankland Bridge public hearings that were scheduled for tonight (Oct. 4) and Thursday (Oct. 6) evenings will be postponed.

Secretary Jim Boxold of the Florida Department of Transportation said the agency will not convert the auxiliary lanes to express lanes on the Howard Frankland Bridge. FDOT staff will reevaluate
proposed options for the bridge replacement and hold public hearings at a later date.
