PASCO COUNTY – A Pasco woman died of injuries she received in a traffic crash Wednesday (July 19) evening, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

Nichol Lynn Barker, 34, of Holiday, died at Northbay Hospital where she was taken after the crash. Kaylynn Pahlck, 4, and Larry Pahlck, 10, both of Holiday; and Brenda Lee Parrish, 55, of Sanford, NC, passengers in car, were also taken to Northbay with minor injuries. The other driver, Bradley Prescott, 19, of New Port Richey, was taken to Trinity Hospital with minor injuries.

The crash happened about 6:40 p.m. at the intersection of Moog Road and Pinehurst Drive. Prescott, who was driving a 1999 Pontiac Firebird, tried to turn from Moog onto Pinehurst. Troopers said he failed to yield right of way when he turned into the path of the 2002 Honda Accord that Ms. Barker was driving. The cars collided and spun before coming to rest at the southeast corner of Moog and Pinehurst.
