Hit-and-Run Crash Seriously Injures Pedestrian
FHP troopers are searching for a small silver- or gray-colored car with damage to the right front.
HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY – A Pembroke Pines woman is in serious condition after she was walking on the shoulder of U.S. 92, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
The 36-year-old woman from Pembroke Pines was taken to Tampa General Hospital in serious condition after the crash.
The crash happened about 12:50 a.m. today (March 3) on U.S. 92 near Pasadena Drive in Hillsborough County.
Troopers said the woman was walking along the south shoulder of U.S. 92 when she was hit by a car that fled the scene.
Troopers said they are searching for a small silver- or gray-colored car with damage to the right front. Anyone with information is asked to contact the FHP at (813) 558-1800 or Crime Stoppers.
