Erin Hodges, 32, of Holiday, died at Mease Countryside Hospital where she was taken after the crash. She was not wearing a seat belt. Alcohol was not a factor in the crash.

The crash happened about 7:30 a.m. on East Lake Road south of Sandy Pointe Drive in Pinellas County. Troopers said Ms. Hodges was driving a 2000 Ford Explorer south on East Lake Road when she traveled onto the west shoulder. She over-corrected back on the road at which point the SUV overturned several times. It came to rest partly on the road and partly on the shoulder.
