SEMINOLE – A driver was cited in connection with a Park Boulevard traffic crash that killed a Seminole woman, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

Gloria Kaminski, 80, of Seminole, died at Bayfront Health St. Petersburg where she was taken after the crash. The other driver, Robert L. Hak, 46, of Seminole, was taken to Bayfront with minor injuries. FHP troopers cited Hak for failure to stop at a red light.

The crash happened about 6:44 p.m. Monday (Aug. 20) at the intersection of Park Boulevard and 125th Street N in Seminole.

Troopers said Hak was driving a 2016 Ford van west on Park. Ms. Kaminski was driving a 2005 Chevrolet north on 125th Street. She was trying to turn left onto Park.

Hak failed to stop at a red traffic light at the intersection and drove into the path of Ms. Kaminski’s Chevrolet, according to troopers. The van hit the left side of the Chevrolet.
