Crash Kills Spring Hill Woman
She walked into the path of an oncoming car, FHP troopers said.
HERNANDO COUNTY – A Spring Hill woman died of injuries she received Friday (Jan. 18) when she was hit by a car while crossing Spring Hill Drive, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
Linda Haynes, 55, of Spring Hill, died at Bayfront Health Spring Hill, where she was taken after the crash.
The crash happened about 10:26 p.m. on Spring Hill Drive approaching Linden Drive in Hernando County.
Troopers said Ms. Haynes was crossing Spring Hill Drive when she walked into the path of an oncoming 2010 Chevrolet Malibu, which hit her.
