County Road 54 Crash Kills Zephyrhills Woman

She was walking in the road when she was hit, FHP troopers said.

PASCO COUNTY – A Zephyrhills woman died of injuries she received when she was hit while walking along County Road 54, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

Eunice Lemcke Nefe, 54, of Zephyrhills, died at Zephyrhills Hospital where she was taken after the crash.

The crash happened about 7:09 p.m. Wednesday (Dec. 26) on CR 54 east of the intersection with Ohio Street.

Troopers said Ms. Nefe was walking east in the roadway on CR 54 when she was hit by a 2013 Ford F150 driven by a 61-year-old man from Bensalem, PA. Alcohol was not a factor in the crash.
