Clearwater Woman Dies in SUV Crash

She lost control of her SUV, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

PINELLAS COUNTY – A Clearwater woman died this morning (June 27) in a single-vehicle crash after she lost control of her SUV, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

Brekke Inez Cramer, 27, of Clearwater, died in the crash.

The crash happened about 3:30 a.m. on Belcher Road north of Curlew Road. Troopers said Ms. Cramer was driving a 2001 Mazda Tribute south on Belcher when she lost control of her SUV on a curve. The SUV left the road and hit a guardrail, then bounced back across the road where it collided with a guardrail on the north side of Belcher. The SUV again rebounded across the road and overturned, throwing Ms. Cramer from the Mazda.
