Clearwater Woman Dies in Pinellas Crash

She turned into the path of another car, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

PINELLAS COUNTY – A Clearwater woman died Tuesday (Feb 21) in a traffic crash, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Barbara J. Ronacher, 65, of Clearwater, died at the scene. Andrew O. Gramza, 35, of Trinity, the driver of the other car, was taken to Mease Countryside Hospital with minor injuries. Neither Ms. Ronacher nor Gramza was wearing a seat belt, troopers said.

The crash happened about 1:05 p.m. at the intersection of Roosevelt Boulevard and 62nd Street N. Troopers said Ms. Ronacher was driving a 2014 Chevrolet Malibu east in the left turn lane of Roosevelt. She turned left into the path of a 2016 Dodge Challenger driven by Gramza. The Dodge and Chevrolet collided.
