Child, 8, Seriously Injured in Pasco Crash

The child walked into the path of a pickup truck, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

PASCO COUNTY – An 8-year-old child suffered serious injuries Monday (June 5) when he was hit by a pickup truck, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

Adam Fulbright, 8, of Port Richey, was taken to St. Joseph’s Hospital with serious injuries.

The crash happened about 6:45 p.m. on Penwood Drive west of Morehead Lane. A vehicle was properly parked on the eastbound side of Penwood. Adam walked in front of the parked vehicle and then into the road into the path of a 1999 Ford F150 driven by Mark Martin, 45, of Port Richey. Troopers said Martin tried to avoid the child but was unable to do so.
