Ambulance Overturned in Crash, Clearwater Police Say

Clearwater police said the intersection of Drew Street and Fort Harrison Avenue has reopened after the traffic crash.

CLEARWATER – Police and police and fire paramedics are on scene of a crash involving an overturned Sunstar ambulance.

Clearwater police said preliminary information shows the crash happened about 7 a.m. today (May 29) when a car ran a red light and hit the ambulance. The ambulance did not have a patient inside and was not responding to a call at the time. No injuries were reported.

The investigation is continuing.
