62nd Avenue Crash Kills Pinellas Park Motorcyclist

A car turned into the motorcyclist’s path, FHP troopers said.

PINELLAS COUNTY – A Pinellas Park man died of injuries he suffered in a crash on 62nd Avenue N, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

Lawrence Gordon Sehr, 58, of Pinellas Park, died at Bayfront Health St. Petersburg where he was taken after the crash. Troopers said he was not wearing a helmet. The other driver, Anne Darlene Loveless, 65, of St. Petersburg, was also taken to Bayfront in serious condition.

The crash happened about 7:34 p.m. Wednesday (April 10) at the intersection of 62nd Avenue N and 25th Street in Pinellas County. Alcohol was not a factor in the crash.

Troopers said Loveless was driving a 2005 Hyundai Sonata west on 62nd Avenue when she turned left into the path of the 2005 Kawasaki that Mr. Sehr was driving.

Charges are pending, troopers said.
