34th Street Crash Kills St. Petersburg Pedestrian
He was hit by a taxi, St. Petersburg police said.
ST. PETERSBURG – A pedestrian died of injuries he received in a traffic crash on 34th Street N late Friday (Jan. 18) night, according to the St. Petersburg Police Department.
The identity of the deceased man is being withheld until his next of kin are notified. He died at Bayfront Health St. Petersburg where he was taken after the crash.
The crash happened about 11:20 p.m. on 34th Street N. It’s unclear where on 34th Street the crash happened. Police said the man was crossing the street and was hit by a 2006 Toyota Corolla taxi cab.
No other information was immediately available.
