The leaders are expected to finish sometime on Thursday (March 2). 

Conviction continued to lead the St. Petersburg to Havana Yacht Race as of 7 a.m. today. In second was Fomo.  The two have been out front since the start and are in the Guylf of Mexico west of Everglades City.

Fleet leaders are expected to reach Havana Harbor sometime on Thursday. Seventy-four boats are competing in the 284-nautical mile race, the first such event held since 1959.
