Rick Wallenda, one of the famous Flying Wallendas, is scheduled for a skywalk across the courtyard at Sundial in St. Pete.

ST. PETERSBURG – Witness one of the most daring and captivating live events in Tampa Bay history when world-famous aerialist Rick Wallenda traverses St. Pete’s Sundial courtyard on a cable no bigger than an index finger and without a harness or safety net.

This nail biting act also presents a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to experience the Flying Wallendas in St. Pete. The free event will benefit Habitat for Humanity of Pinellas County and is open to the public.

The walk will begin about 5 p.m. Before the skywalk, attendees will enjoy a variety of circus-themed performers beginning at 4 p.m., including photo ops with Wallenda in the courtyard. It is scheduled for Saturday (Feb. 11) at Sundial, 153 Second Ave. N.

The Wallenda family holds multiple world records for their stunts including, among others, the highest blindfolded tight rope walk (between two Chicago skyscrapers) and crossing Niagara Falls.
