The exhibit provides a look at costumes worn at the Gecko Ball throughout the years.

GULFPORT – The costumes worn throughout the years at the annual Gecko Ball will be displayed at an upcoming exhibit at the Gulfport History Museum.

Behind the Seams opens March 22 at the museum, 5301 28th Ave. S.

If you’ve ever wondered what the annual Gecko Ball looks like, well, here’s your chance to get Behind the Seams with one of the Ball’s favorite costumers. Jon Ziegler will display some of his wildest creations.

The opening reception for the exhibit is 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. March 22 from 7-9 p.m. Wine and cheese at the reception. Well-behaved dogs and kids welcome, although they may not have wine.
