Run Like a Wild Horse at Trail Run, XTERRA Half-Marathon
Registration is open for the Wildhorse Trail Run and XTERRA half-marathon. The events include a 10 mile, 10K and 4 mile.
HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY – If you’re looking for a great race, come out and try the XTERRA Wildhorse Trail Runs.
It is sure to be a good time and if you want to ruffle up your feathers a little bit more, try the XTERRA Half-Marathon. The half-marathon is the first race of the XTERRA Point Series for the 2016-2017 season. The top two age group winners for this series qualifies for Nationals.
You will love the running at The Wildhorse – it is a great course with fast single track running broken up with interesting challenging sections. Most of the running takes place at Sydney-Dover Park and the start/finish takes place at Keith Waller Park. These Hillsborough County parks are easily accessible from both I-4 and I-275. The post-race festivities will include the usual awards, music, food, give-a-ways, and will also include pancakes. No reason to feel guilty about eating these delicious pancakes – you will have earned it after the run.
Full-color T-shirts are guaranteed for all pre-registered runners. The top finisher awards will be stainless steel travel mugs – these very durable mugs are practically indestructible. The run is Nov. 6. For information or to register, go to runwildhorse.com.
