Run with (or Away From) the Rattlesnakes in Pasco

Rattlesnake Run | San Antonio | Runs

Registration is open for the Rattlesnake Run, which now has an event for runners with their dogs.

SAN ANTONIO – The Rattlesnake Run, sponsored by the San Antonio Rotary Club, was named the “best little race in Florida” by Race Place Magazine.

The 5-mile course includes hills, sidewalks, groves, a bridge, cross country, and more hills. The Oct. 15 event includes a 5-mile and a 1-mile run as usual. But this year, there is also a 1-mile runner-with-dog race.  All dogs must remain leashed to a runner and complete the race without physical assistance.  The top runner/dog team will be given an award.

The races set out from San Antonio City Park, at the corner of Pennsylvania Avenue and Joe Herrmann Drive (northeast corner of the park).

Online registration is open until Oct. 12. Registration is also available on site the morning of the race.
