County commissioners are holding a “community conversation” Wednesday (May 20) to get residents’ ideas and questions about Pinellas’ future.

PINELLAS COUNTY – County commissioners have scheduled a “community conversation” public meeting Wednesday (May 20) at the Seminole Campus of St. Petersburg College, 9200 113th St. N. The event begins at 5:30 p.m. with a half-hour open house to give residents a chance to meet Pinellas commissioners and the county administrator. The town hall “community conversation” will run from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.

The event will be a moderated live discussion. Possible topics include the overall strategic plan for the county and the needs of the community, what the county is doing to move toward the future, housing, social services, transportation and more.

You can take part in the event by going to the live event, or by watching online with live video and blog at pinellascounty.org. You can also watch it live on Pinellas County’s TV station (PCC-TV) – Bright House channel 637, WOW! channel 18, or Verizon channel 44. SPC will also televise it on the school’s station at SPC-TV. A tape will be available for later viewing on PCC-TV or on the county webpage.
