Dunedin 5K Benefits Troubled Soldiers

Run|K|K

This is the first running of the race, which benefits Stop Soldier Suicide.

DUNEDIN- Registration is open for Saturday’s (July 30) Sgt. Eric Landon Fun Run 5K.

This is the first running of the race, which seeks to raise awareness of the 22 veterans and one active duty member who take their own life each day. All proceeds of the race go directly to Stop Soldier Suicide – the first non-for-profit organization dedicated to preventing active duty and veteran suicides.

After the fun run, there will be a party at Pioneer Park with live music, a raffle, food, and activities for the kids such as face painting, balloon animals, and a bounce house.

Runners will go off at 9 a.m. on the Pinellas Trail in downtown Dunedin off Main Street. Registration is $25 for veterans and active duty military; $35 for all others.
