The event lets folks get to know the police in a casual setting.

CLEARWATER – The Clearwater Police Department is having a unique community event Wednesday (May 3) morning.

Called “Doughnuts With A Cop,” the event is a takeoff on previous “Coffee With A Cop” sessions conducted around the city.

This version will be from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the Wawa located at the southwest corner of Belcher Road and Gulf-to-Bay Boulevard. The street address is 2177 Gulf-to-Bay Blvd.

Residents can partake in a free doughnut and free cup of coffee from Wawa and chat with police officers about any community concerns they have that are related to public safety.
