Rebuild Florida will repair and rebuild damaged homes across the hardest-hit communities in the state. Sunday is the deadline to register.

TAMPA BAY – Homeowners whose homes were damaged by Hurricane Irma could be eligible to receive assistance from Rebuild Florida.

Rebuild Florida is a program run by the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity in partnership with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. It was created to help families rebuild homes damaged or destroyed by Hurricane Irma. Registration is the first step in the process. The deadline to register for the program is Sunday (Dec. 23).

Rebuild Florida will repair and rebuild damaged homes across the hardest-hit communities in the state. Funding is dependent on income eligibility, and priority funding will be considered for the elderly, those with disabilities and families with children ages 5 and younger.
