St. Pete Police Invite Residents to Night Against Crime

The family-friendly activities at the National Night Out Against Crime will include a bike rodeo and bounce houses.

ST. PETERSBURG – The St. Petersburg Police Department will hold its Annual National Night Out from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday (Oct. 3) at the Target in Gateway Plaza, 8151 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. St. N.

The purpose of the event is to give the community a chance to learn how first responders address various needs in the community and highlight some of the tools that are used in doing so.

A variety of federal, state and local law enforcement, fire and emergency agencies will join forces with Target, St. Petersburg College, th Tampa Bay Rays, the Bucs, the Rowdies and other local businesses.

Residents are invited to come take part in a host of family-friendly activities including a bike rodeo and bounce houses. There will be giveaways, free food, prizes and presentations plus an opportunity to meet members of our local law enforcement community and emergency personnel.
