Pinellas Sheriff Swears in 20, Promotes 13

The ceremony was held Friday (May 26).

PINELLAS COUNTY – Sheriff Bob Gualtieri hosted a swearing in and a promotion ceremony Friday (May 26) that recognized 19 law enforcement deputy recruits, one detention deputy recruit, and 13 newly promoted Sheriff’s Office employees.

The ceremony started with Gualtieri’s administering the oath of office to the new law enforcement recruits in front of family and friends. Then, family members and friends pinned new badges on their fathers, mothers, sons and daughters who have just been promoted.

These Sheriff’s Office employees were promoted:

Civilian promotions:
Melissa Antink- inmate records shift supervisor
Lisha Goodrich – inmate records shift supervisor

Promoted to sergeant:

Janet Groff
Edwin Guzman
Mark Kolenda
Kannika Nimithkoune
